A New Light: Chapter 0neA New Light: Chapter one.

Sunlight streamed into the camp. Cats were just waking up from their dens. A slender female cat appeared from a rocky den from a cliff. She stretched her hind legs as she padded up to the edge. Her fur was a beautiful sandy color with light brown spots on her back. “Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey meet under the Cliff Ledge for a Clan meeting!”

Fawnpaw blinked the sleep out of her eyes as she padded out of the apprenticed den. She shook leaves off her fur as the other three apprenticed followed her. She nodded to her mother and father, Lilytail and Oakclaw, as she headed to find a spot.
IchiRuki: Hunters Part 18Rukia took a couple of steps back. Her hands were shaking as she tried to stand her ground. The other Rukia grinned down at her and narrowed her eyes. “Cat got your tongue?” she hissed. “Meow.” she purred. The other Rukia laughed darkly as she faced Ichigo. “So you idiots got my letter. Nice.”

Ichigo narrowed his eyes and clenched his fists. “Who the hell are you, and why do you look like Rukia?!”

The other Rukia smiled. She spat near Ichigo’s foot. Ichigo flinched. “Who wants to know?” She brought her scythe down and licked the weapon.

IchiRuki: Hunters Part 17It was the morning of Round One. Ichigo, Rukia, and Rangiku were waiting outside. Maple went to hide by the school in case they needed her. Ichigo and Rukia both had their uniforms on. Rangiku was wearing a black robe. She ran her hands through her long hair as she sighed. “I didn’t think things would come to this.” she murmured. She looked up.

“Rukia, do you have your sword?”

Rukia nodded.

“Good. You guys head to school, I’ll wait with Maple. Maybe we’ll finish round one and meet the bastard.” Without another word, Rangiku transported herself by the school grounds with Maple.
